The submitter writes, "I purchased this car in 1984 for $1500.00 a few months prior to me joining the Coast Guard. I drove the car for a few years now and then while on leave or while stationed closer to my hometown of Tiffin, Ohio. In 1987 when I received orders to Hawaii I put the car away in storage (Ohio barn) not really realizing it would remain there for over 14 years with mice and groundhogs sharing the same facilities. In 2002 when I finally had a home with a garage I was able to haul her home and clean her up with repairs and parts totaling about $1400.00. She runs great and I drove it to my Coast Guard retirement ceremony in Sept 2004. Glad I hung on to her."
