"Here's my 68 D-100
For 15 years this was my trusty "work truck". Then, the transformation began:
Resto-rodded with slightly wild 318 V8, 727 auto trans, 3500 rpm stall converter. Mopar performance electronic ignition, headers, thermoquad 4bbl. Factory bench seat swapped out for 40/20/40 buckets from a '96 Ram.
Two months after completion my son crashed it (see photo "crash"). The seatbelts from the '96 Ram did their job; he was uninjured (except for the pain of paying to FIX IT!) Front clip replaced, six-pak scoop added to the new hood, and it's back on the road again!"
